Monday Obsessions: Crawfish, Museums, and Sleep Sabotage
It's Monday...again...I don't know about you, but this weekend went by way too fast. I celebrated my mother's 70th birthday on Saturday AND Sunday and even snuck in two date nights with the hubs. On Saturday, we drove around Houston looking for the best (read: shortest wait time) crawfish in town. Yes, it's mudbug season in the south! It's the season that makes the south feel like one big family reunion for a few months. Yes - that season when if you take a left turn down the right street and roll down your window, the air will smell like butter and crab boil.
Every year, it never fails - I see a crawfish novice doing far too much work to crack the little sucker open and get to the good meat. I'm always tempted to go over and provide a friendly lesson. So in honor of those folks who could use a little help, I came across this quick and easy tutorial. Share it with your "crawfish-challenged" friends....
Now that I've made your mouth water, here are some more deliciously awesome things that have me obsessed this Monday. Have a great week!
