Talk about #CoupleGoals! Following a random basketball accident that left Matt paralyzed from the neck down, his girlfriend Kaitlyn completed a 26 mile run along the Boston Marathon route! Although they missed the deadline to register for the actual race, they completed the feat the Monday before the actual event. The couple, still learning to navigate the challenges associated with Matt's disability, decided to participate in the Marathon to show everyone that people with disabilities can still be "crazy and brave." As if we needed another reason to love Queen Bey, on the heels of her much buzzed about Coachella performance (read this review), Beyonce' announced the expansion of her scholarship program she launched last year to make donations specifically to students at 4 Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This new scholarship is just the icing on the cake after an epic performance that celebrated the Black College experience. Read more on the scholarship program here.

Girl Scout Troop 6000 held their first cookie sale drive this year, but the stakes were higher than for other troops. Troop 6000 is comprised of young girls who live in homeless shelters around New York City, and was established in 2017 by the City's Department of Homeless Services. The troop obliterated their initial goal of selling 6000 boxes. Read more about their story here !
